In the past week, a training “Advanced Functionalities of Linux System” was conducted for the PIO fund IT department. At the Fruške Terme hotel, MDS engineer Petar Brčić presented the following topics to the participants:

• Tips and Tricks when using Linux

• Logical Volume Manager

• MySQL

The demonstration and practice were performed on laptops, where the infrastructure was virtualized by the use of VMware Workstation tool.

After a several-hour lecture, a lunch break was organized at the Deurić Winery.
